Partnerships

Through our partnership agreements and relationships, UVG demonstrates our commitment to working with Indigenous People and our Indigenous Partners to build capacity through economic development and employment. The intention of our partnerships is to have a positive impact on Indigenous People, their companies, and communities in measurable ways.

Support & Engagement

  • Unified will work to understand the specific history, traditions, governance, and current realities of the Indigenous peoples and land we are engaging with.
  • Unified does prioritize relationship-building over immediate project goals; it takes time and presence to earn trust and UVG will invest time to ensure trust is built.
  • Unified will listen deeply when engaging with Indigenous peoples.
  • Unified will ask respectful questions about protocols, knowledge, and spiritual practices to further and enhance our Indigenous knowledge.
  • Unified will ask the community to set the engagement pace with an understanding that Indigenous cultural and traditional activities take precedence over external schedules.
  • Unified will be respectful when engaging with Indigenous peoples and communities.
  • Unified will work with nation economic development or business development teams.
  • We will make every effort to meet with nations leaders in their communities.
  • Supports come in ways of setting aside business, training, and employment opportunities, along with event sponsorship
